Yoga mats aren’t created equal. Ours is made with thick natural rubber. It’s bonded to a GRS-certified recycled polyester upper for support and control through every pose. Say goodbye to sore knees and cold, sticky surfaces.
The thick natural rubber base will stay firm against any surface. The soft textile upper gets better with a little moisture on your palms.
As a natural product, rubber can initially have a slight odour. It’s completely normal, the opposite of harmful, and it will dissipate after a short time. Speak to your doctor if you have a latex allergy.
We get it, shopping for spikes to relax on is tricky when you can’t try them first. If Shakti isn’t right for you, you can return your items free of charge for an exchange or refund within 60 days of receiving your order, provided the goods are in the same condition as when you received them and purchased at full-price or on a limited-time promotion. We do not accept change-of-mind returns on limited edition items, clearance (sale or marked-down) items.

There are so many ways to use your new Yoga Mat. It’s soft enough to protect your knees and wide enough to keep you centred, making it perfect for the gentler side of yoga.
Think yin, nidra, core workouts and slow flow – but don’t be scared to work up a sweat. When you’re done, all it takes is a quick wipe down with a clean, damp cloth and you’re ready to relax with your Shakti Mat.
If you have a meditation practice you can ground your cushion or sit bones easily – and comfortably. Place your meditation cushion directly on the mat or simply get comfortable in a seated pose. Your sit bones and ankles will sink into the mat’s soft, smooth surface.

The Grounded in Comfort Mat is designed for winding down. The compromise here is that it isn’t suitable for hot yoga or humid environments.

No, it’s not a sticky non-slip mat. The soft, smooth recycled polyester upper is made for comfort and slower floor-based practices. But don’t be afraid of building up a little sweat on it! It’s easy to clean and wipes down well with a damp cloth.

Because it wouldn’t be comfortable, otherwise! Natural rubber is heavier because it doesn’t have the fillers and trapped air that other types of foam (and other types of yoga mats) do. And our mat is already thicker than most.

Very heavy, doesn't feel soft and I am slipping on it! It does not feel safe and I don't believe I can get a refund now as it was on sale. So very disappointed.

I do a lot of yin yoga and this mat has the perfect amount of cushioning. The non slip fabric on top is a great addition and the bottom layer stops it from slipping on the floor. I love how it feels and am excited to get on it to do my morning yoga. A yoga teacher recommended it and I am so glad I followed my heart and bought it. It is a beautiful mat.
