When you place it under your head, neck and shoulders, it disperses pressure avoiding any pinch points. Your shoulders and neck experience a deep release that transitions up toward the top of your skull.

Will it hurt? Yes. But only for a little in the beginning.
Each spike responds to tension in your body, so more tension = more sensation. The initial “Ouch!” you feel activates your body’s pain response and tells it to send happiness hormones and pain-relief chemicals to the area you’re targeting. These pillows are really made of the best materials, all natural, organic. You can tell by how they look and feel too. I LOVE it! It's super comfortable and fits really well with the matte. I feel so good on the head even though it's super painful at first it does feel really then it's a really spiritual experience!!!
