To clean the Premium Mat and Pillow, remove the Blissfoam™ and hand-wash the cotton cover in warm soapy water, using a soft brush to clean the spikes. Rinse and hang to dry in the shade. Once dry, re-insert the Blissfoam™, ready for your next Shakti practice.
Store them out of the sun, as UV rays can cause the color to fade. Keep out of reach of pets and children.

A little, but only in the beginning.
Each spike responds to tension in your body, so more tension = more sensation. The initial “Ouch!” you feel activates your body’s pain response and tells it to send happiness hormones and pain-relief chemicals to the area you’re targeting. If those spikes aren’t sharp enough – or you’re beyond relaxed already – you won’t feel much.
After a few minutes, the tingling sensation fades into a deep, relaxing warmth. The redness is purely a circulation boost. You might even fall asleep.

If you go too far in the beginning you’re less likely to build a solid habit. It’s why we offer three intensities that all unlock the benefits of acupressure.
Level 1 is the perfect place to start. Expect a gentle balance of initial sensation and deep release. Ideal for anyone new to acupressure.
Level 2 is for the bold. Fewer spikes means more initial discomfort, so commit to pushing through to unlock a deeper release.
Level 3 is for the brave. Expect serious sensation upfront, with plenty of reward if you can handle it.
Level 4: Limited Edition is only for the experienced. Our most intense spikes ever – perfect if you're craving more from your advanced Shakti practice.
