When you place it under your head, neck and shoulders, it disperses pressure avoiding any pinch points. Your shoulders and neck experience a deep release that transitions up toward the top of your skull.
Its shape is also perfect for releasing tension in hard-to-reach curves, and you can rest your face against the spikes for a subtle sensation.

Will it hurt? Yes. But only for a little in the beginning.
Each spike responds to tension in your body, so more tension = more sensation. The initial “Ouch!” you feel activates your body’s pain response and tells it to send happiness hormones and pain-relief chemicals to the area you’re targeting. If those spikes aren’t sharp enough – or you’re beyond relaxed already – you won’t feel much.

Best pillow ever!
Works just as it advertises. I have found this to be great for reducing the tightness in my neck and shoulders. I am a jaw clencher and work at my desk 40 hours per week. Since starting to use it 2 weeks ago I have found that I am nowhere near as hunched and clenched as normal. It is reducing my neck and shoulder plain. Love this for 20mins a day while reading a book. Thoroughly recommend this becoming part of your routine.

Love my pillow. I ordered level two . It was great. I let a friend try it and ended up giving her the pillow. I ordered a second pilow but level 3. I keep it behind me in my chair. I actually ordered the mat for the friend as a gift. So you got two customers for the price of one. Helps with my back and neck pain
