SIGNATURE SHAKTI SPIKES
Sharp spikes = effective acupressure. Anything less and you’re missing the point. We made this mat with our Level 2 spikes because it’s what most regular users will be familiar with. It’s easy to dial up the pressure on a hard surface, or dial down by wearing a thin top.
PURPOSE-BUILT FOR A LIFE OUTDOORS
The organic cotton base has a water-resistant coating that makes wiping any dirt or spills simple. The upper is uncoated for a little softness between the spikes, so you get the best of both worlds.
LOW-PROFILE & LIGHTWEIGHT
No bulky foam, just you and your spikes. Everything rolls into an integrated storage pouch when you’re not using it, and at 350 g there’s no excuse for not having room in your bag.

Lying on a To-Go Mat is no different from lying on your Shakti Mat. Just be mindful of the surface you lie it on.
Use your bed, sofa, lounge chair, or a sandy beach, for a feeling that’s similar to lying on a Shakti Mat. Lying directly on bare ground will make for a more intense sensation.
As always, bare skin is best, deep breaths will help you through the initial discomfort, and 20 minutes is all it takes.
When you’re done, everything rolls up into the pouch. Roll the To-Go Mat up from the bottom so that the spikes aren’t facing outwards, and use the elastic to keep everything secure.
Pro tips
Fill the overturned pouch positioned at the top of the Mat with a top and then roll it with the spikes facing out to create a makeshift Shakti Pillow.
Standing on the To-Go Mat is a great way to refresh your feet, especially after a day of exploring.

Will it hurt? Yes. But you already knew that.
At around 40% smaller than a Premium Shakti Mat, the To-Go Mat is big enough to release everyday tightness without getting in the way.
During your first few sessions, you’ll gain an understanding of what works for you. Depending on your height, you might find it easier to target your upper or lower back separately.

To-Go Mat spikes are Level 2 because we found it’s what most regular users are used to. It’s possible to increase the intensity by laying the To-Go Mat on bare ground, floors and carpet. Ease the intensity by wearing a thin top.

Where acupuncture uses needles to pierce the skin, acupressure uses spikes to press against it. The key difference with a Shakti Mat is that you can activate multiple acupoints in as many seconds as it takes to lie on them, and you don’t need to book an appointment either.
